Maria C. Sciancalepore, MPA

Ms. Maria Sciancalepore is currently the administrator for the Department of Psychiatry at the University of Medicine and Dentistry of New Jersey.

Ms. Sciancalepore has actively participated and assisted in the coordination the society's annual conference for the past five years and currently serves as the Secretariat for the American Society of Hispanic Psychiatry.

Ms. Sciancalepore earned her undergraduate degree from Farleigh Dickinson University in 1980 and her Master Degree in Public Administration from Farleigh Dickinson University. Ms. Sciancalepore focused her undergraduate and graduate studies in the area of health care administration. 

Ms. Sciancalepore has worked in many New Jersey Health Care systems and was the Director of the Joslin Center for Diabetes, Saint Barnabas Health Care System for six years.  

Ms. Sciancalepore has worked as an Administrator at the University of Medicine and Dentistry for the past nine years and participates in numerous University committees. She is a member of the Administrators of Academic Psychiatry, New Jersey Society of Healthcare Executives and participates in the University Affirmative Action Council.
